6 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton pounded the Los Angeles Lakers to the tune of 26 points and 10 rebounds across 34 minutes during Saturday’s victory. With the Lakers attempting to take a small ball approach in their starting five, Ayton was able to take advantage of the fact that they were unable to match-up size-wise. In addition to shooting 8-for-11 from the field and 10-for-14 from the free-throw stripe, Ayton added three assists and two steals to pack his stat sheet. He’ll draw a more difficult showdown Monday against the Milwaukee Bucks, who feature Brook Lopez from outside of the paint most of the time. DFS owners may want to be wary, but season-long owners can continue deploying Ayton with confidence.--Jesse Borek
