5 years agoPhoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton has been listed as questionable to return for Wednesday’s game versus the Golden State Warriors due to a sore left ankle. Ayton was absent from Monday’s contest, which paved the way for Cheick Diallo to see an enormous 39-minute workload in the frontcourt. Ayton had been particularly rolling over his previous five games prior to the injury, having averaged 22.2 points, 13.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.0 blocks in that span. With Golden State still adjusting its frontcourt rotations in the wake of the Trade Deadline, owners will want to check back prior to tip-off to get word on Ayton’s status.--Jesse Borek
