6 years agoDallas Mavericks center DeAndre Jordan finished Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans with a season-low two points on 1-for-2 shooting. The last time that Jordan took so few shot attempts was March 9, 2017. He grabbed eight rebounds, but also committed four turnovers, turning in a clunker for owners who figured that he would remain active on the glass against New Orleans’ bigs. He faces the Houston Rockets on Saturday, whom he is averaging 11.3 points per game against in his career, his third most of any opposing club.--Jesse Borek
