6 years agoDallas Mavericks center DeAndre Jordan is already getting involved in the Mavericks offense in ways he wasn't with the Clippers, with the big man finishing with four assists in just 18 minutes in the team's preseason opener. Jordan also scored nine points on 3-for-6 shooting, grabbed eight rebounds, and blocked a pair of shots. Dallas made an effort to put the ball in Jordan's hands in situations where he wouldn't have touched the ball in the past, including a few times with Jordan handling the ball at the top of the key. It remains to be seen if the team plans to let Jordan pass more often, but even a small uptick in assists would help his fantasy value.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
