6 years agoDallas Mavericks center DeAndre Jordan finished with nine points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots across 35 minutes in Friday's 114-112 road loss against the New Orleans Pelicans. He was a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and a respectable 3-for-5 from the free-throw line while turning it over just three times. It was his first time in single-digit points across the past six outings, but his four swats were his most since he had five in the second game of the season on Oct. 20 against Minnesota. The 15 boards look rather impressive on paper, but he is actually averaging 15.6 boards per game in the month of December, so it was just par for the course.--Daniel Dobish
