4 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard De'Anthony Melton had a very productive night off the bench against Miami on Wednesday, finishing an 89-85 win with 13 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Only Jonas Valanciunas (12) had more rebounds than him on the Grizzlies squad while nobody scored more points or handed out more assists. Ja Morant also had 13 points and six dimes. Melton has carved out a nice role for himself in Memphis, but he tends to be very inconsistent. The 22-year-old had a two-point dud on 1-for-7 shooting in Monday's loss to Phoenix. He will look to finally put together two consecutive strong performances on Friday against the Warriors, who have struggled defensively against guards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
