Dejounte Murray Set to Shine Again on Friday
7 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray, who's claimed the starting job ahead of Tony Parker, looks set to shine again on Friday when the Philadelphia 76ers visit the AT&T Center. The Sixers have been one of the worst teams in the league against point guards this season, allowing over 22 points per 48 minutes. In the first meeting of the season, when Parker was unavailable and Murray played just 14 minutes, Patty Mills led the Spurs in scoring with 26 points in 29 minutes. Murray has averaged 12.6 points, seven rebounds, 4.7 assists and 3.3 steals in the last three games as a starter.
