7 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields is not part of the Texas rangers lineup Tuesday. DeShields is struggling in 2018 with a .226 batting average and a 24.4 percent strikeout rate in 131 plate appearances. DeShields does have eight steals and two home runs, but the Rangers have given him a day off to try and break his slump. This shouldn't be much more than a single day off for DeShields, who could steal 40 bases this season. Ryan Rua will man center field in his absence. Rua is not faring much better with just a .176 batting average and two home runs in 79 PAs and is not a hitter we would be looking to use in fantasy on Tuesday.--Ben Rolfe
