7 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Delino DeShields will head to Double-A Frisco to rehab on Thursday and Friday. He will be assessed further Saturday and could re-join the Rangers for the start of the following week. DeShields only managed eight at-bats before getting injured. Last season, he had his most successful year in the major leagues with a .269 average and 29 stolen bases. DeShields should return to the leadoff spot when he re-joins the Rangers and he has the potential to steal at least 30 bases this season. Now is the time to go out and add him if he has been dropped in your leagues.--Ben Rolfe
