DeMar DeRozan and Fred VanVleet Ruled Out Tuesday
7 years agoThe Toronto Raptors have ruled out guards DeMar DeRozan (rest) and Fred VanVleet (hand) ahead of Tuesday night's game against the Orlando Magic. Head coach Dwane Casey hinted earlier in the week that he could be resting players ahead of the Tuesday-Wednesday back-to-back, and DeRozan seems the first to be rested. VanVleet will miss his second straight game with a hand contusion but appears to be making progress after being labeled questionable for Tuesday. In both their absences, C.J. Miles and Delon Wright are looking at extra minutes in the back court. Miles is not much more than a three-point streamer, but Wright has played well recently and has potential to contribute across the board.
