7 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard DeMar DeRozan has been Toronto's most important player this season, but on Tuesday it was a true team effort that got the Raptors the victory over Denver. DeRozan, who went 7-for-12 from the field, was one of three Raptors to score 15 points, with Jonas Valanciunas and Fred VanVleet being the other two. DeRozan also had eight assists, which was tied for the team lead with Kyle Lowry. Toronto doesn't play again until Saturday when they take on the Boston Celtics. With Boston holding opponents to the second fewest points per game in the league and the Raptors also possessing a top-10 scoring defense, this one could be a low-scoring affair, which lowers some of DeRozan's upside.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
