6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan finished Saturday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls with 21 points, but it took going 8-for-23 from the field to get there. He added five rebounds and three assists to round out his night, but with two other Spurs starters going scoreless, DeRozan was tasked with picking up the slack on the offensive end. He remains one of the league’s preeminent threats to get 20 points on a nightly basis, looking to do so on a higher shooting percentage Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers who may be without dogged wing defender Jimmy Butler.--Jesse Borek
