4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard/forward DeMar DeRozan finished Monday's 100-97 loss to Charlotte with a game-high 28 points on 11-for-16 shooting. He was 6-for-7 at the line and played some very efficient basketball with zero turnovers in 35 minutes, five assists, two rebounds, and one steal. Derrick White had 21 points as the second-best Spurs scorer. DeRozan recently missed some time for personal reasons, but he hasn't missed a beat since returning to the lineup, averaging 26 points and 8.3 assists across three games. He'll try and keep the momentum in a pair of games against the Clippers next. DeRozan had a tough time in this year's first meeting with Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers, scoring only six points in a 116-113 win on Jan. 5.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
