6 years agoGolden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins has been ruled out for Wednesday’s contest versus the Portland Trail Blazers due to rest purposes, but should be considered a full go for Tuesday’s game versus the Utah Jazz. Cousins is yet to suit up for a back-to-back since making his season debut in January, with the Warriors having no incentive to force the big man back on the floor. Golden State has restricted Cousins’ minutes as he returns from a torn Achilles, having averaged 22.9 minutes per contest through his first 10 outings. After play Tuesday, the next time he’ll be eligible comes against his former squad, the Sacramento Kings, on Feb. 21.--Jesse Borek
