6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Dennis Schroder went for 21 points off the bench during Tuesday’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks, his first game against his former club as a visitor. Schroder went for 18 points versus Atlanta back on Nov. 30, but playing in front of his old fans Tuesday, he went 6-for-15 from the floor, adding six assists and three rebounds to his total. After five seasons in Atlanta where he eventually took over as the starting point guard, Schroder has transitioned to a bench role in Oklahoma City in 2018-19, seeing his numbers take a slight dip from where they were at last season.--Jesse Borek
