3 years agoHouston Rockets point/shooting guard Dennis Schroder (ankle) and small forward Garrison Mathews (ankle) have been deemed questionable to play in Wednesday's game against the Lakers with respective ankle sprains. Schroder has missed the past four contests due to the ailment, which has opened up additional minutes for Josh Christopher on the second unit. Mathews sustained his injury early in Monday's outing, leading to an 0-for-5 shooting performance. Eric Gordon, Kevin Porter Jr., and Jalen Green would all stand to have elevated offensive roles if either Schroder or Mathews is held out. Check back prior to tip-off for the final word on the Rockets' backcourt.--Jesse Borek
