5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder scored 31 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out an assist in a 112-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. The 26-year-old bounced back from three straight poor shooting performances to go 60 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from three and four of four on free throws. He was a much-needed spark for the Thunder off the bench, frequently keeping them in the game against a superior Lakers squad. If Schroder can keep knocking down two-pointers at a career-high rate, 50.8 percent, and up his efficiency from three, 28.6 percent, he could have a better statistical year than last year. He'll continue to be locked into the sixth-man role when the Thunder battle the Lakers again on Friday.--Tim Capurso
