6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder got the start during Wednesday's preseason loss to the Pistons. The former Hawk played 27 minutes and scored 21 points on 5-for-16 shooting from the field including going a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe. He was also efficient elsewhere, getting his teammates involved by dishing out nine assists and pulling down five boards. The 25-year-old will get plenty of minutes this season, especially with guard Russell Westbrook (knee) potentially missing part of the season after surgery just a few weeks ago.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
