Dennis Schroder Plays A Season-High 41 Minutes
5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Dennis Schroder jumped into the starting lineup on Monday and filled up the box score against the Dallas Mavericks. Schroder was replacing Chris Paul, who missed the game due to personal reasons, and he conjured up the stat line of 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal in a season-high 41 minutes. The sixth-year guard wasn't particularly useful shooting the ball on Monday (6-for-16 on field goals), but managed to hit all six of his free-throw attempts. It is unclear when Paul will return to the team, but if he misses more games, Schroder may continue to see this type of workload against the Kings on Wednesday.
