3 years agoHouston Rockets point/shooting guard Dennis Schroder (ankle) has been cleared to play in Friday's contest against the Mavericks as he works through a sprained right ankle. Schroder returned from the ailment Wednesday and compiled 12 points across 23 minutes off the bench. Schroder has averaged 11 points and 7.3 assists in seven outings since joining Houston, but he has shot 35.1% overall and 25.8% from behind the arc in that span. His return takes some of the fantasy shine from Josh Christopher, but the development of Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green figures to remain paramount down the stretch for the Rockets.--Jesse Borek
