6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point/shooting guard Dennis Schroder didn’t let his move to the bench affect his offensive performance during Saturday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets. Oklahoma City has been decimated at the off-guard spot by injuries, leading to Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot drawing the start, although he logged just 21 minutes. Schroder came through with an 18-point performance across 30 minutes, adding a pair of rebounds and assists. Whether he starts or not has been a virtual non-factor as he is averaging 16.6 points per game off the bench and 18.1 per game as a starter this season.--Jesse Borek
