6 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. and center DeAndre Jordan made their team debuts on Sunday against Memphis, staying mostly quiet. Jordan started his Knicks career with a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double, but he could've done more defensively as Marc Gasol dropped 24 points. Smith Jr. missed all three triples and shot a lowly 3-for-9 from the field to finish with only eight points. He added six assists, three rebounds, one steal, and one block. A lot more will be expected from both going forward. Smith Jr. has a good matchup next against the Pistons, who haven't done too well against opposing point guards this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
