6 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. was close to matching his career-high in assists on Sunday, finishing a 130-118 win over San Antonio with 13 dimes. He added 19 points on 9-for-17 shooting to wrap up a double-double. Smith Jr. nailed his only three-point attempt, and he added six rebounds and two steals to his tally as well without committing a single turnover in 30 minutes. It was a great performance from Smith Jr., who won his first home game as a Knick. He has a chance to grab a second one on Tuesday against Orlando, who have allowed opposing points guards to shoot 45.9 percent against them this season.
