6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. had his best game of the season so far Sunday night versus the Utah Jazz. Smith Jr. scored 27 points going 12-for-19 from the field with three of those made buckets coming from three-point territory. In the previous four games, Smith Jr. has played this season he has averaged just 13.8 points on 37.5 percent shooting so Sunday was an outstanding performance for him. Next on the schedule for Smith Jr. and the Mavericks are the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. The Spurs give up the sixth most points per game and with the injuries, the Spurs have suffered in the back-court Smith Jr. may be a solid DFS play.--Matt Sparkington - RotoBaller
