6 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. will miss Sunday’s contest versus the Golden State Warriors due to back tightness. Head coach Rick Carlisle said that he hoped Smith Jr. would be able to practice this upcoming week, with his next chance to suit up coming Wednesday against San Antonio. With both Smith Jr. and J.J. Barea out, Luka Doncic figures to see the lion’s share of the work at the point, although both Jalen Brunson and Devin Harris could draw hefty minutes.--Jesse Borek
