Dennis Smith Jr. Struggles In Just 22 Minutes Of Action
6 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. could not get things going on Friday as the second-year guard provided just seven points in 22 minutes of action in the loss to the Timberwolves. Smith Jr. connected on 3-for-6 shooting (with one of his makes being a vicious throwdown) and did manage to add seven assists with two steals and a block, but did commit five turnovers on the night. Emmanuel Mudiay did return and actually played 26 backup minutes which was more than the 22 minutes Smith Jr. played. We know how unpredictable coach Fizdale's rotations are, so owners need to be a bit patient with this situation.
