7 years agoUtah Jazz power forward/center did not provide too much for his club in an eight point loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder in game 1. Favors finished with seven points on 3-of-7 shooting from the floor and was able to add five rebounds to go along with three assists. Favors was able to chip in a couple blocks as well, but overall, was unable to carry over his excellent end of season play into game 1. Favors provides mismatch opportunities on the offensive end for the Jazz but it is the complete opposite at the other end if he is lined up at the power forward spot with Rudy Gobert. This is most likely going to affect Favors output for the length of this series.--Gianni Costantiello
