3 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Derrick Favors (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Houston. Favors has played a limited role in his first year with the rebuilding Thunder, having oscillated between the starting five and bench. The veteran has seen at least 20 minutes of action just five times in his first 16 games, a role too minimal to earn him much fantasy consideration in any format. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has stepped in as the team's starting center, and with the Thunder already off to a slow start, Favors' playing time may slide as the year moves along. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday in a rematch vs. the Rockets.--Jesse Borek
