6 years agoMiami Heat small/power forward Derrick Jones notched a season-high-tying 18 points during Saturday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets. Jones shot an efficient 7-for-10 from the field, adding four rebounds and a pair of made triples. He saw some additional minutes due to Hassan Whiteside being absent from the rotation, allowing other Heat frontcourt members to slot up the depth chart. The performance was Jones’ first double-digit scoring outing since Jan. 25, making him best as an advantageous DFS play for the time being when fellow teammates are forced out.--Jesse Borek
