Derrick Rose Agrees To Remain With Timberwolves
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose has agreed to remain with the team for another year. While the financial details surrounding the deal are unknown, it is clear Rose will get another chance to seek rejuvenation after an injury-plagued career. Rose flashed some past quickness during Minnesota's 2018 playoff series, but was all-in-all unimpressive during his regular season stint. Rose shot only 42.6 percent from the field and an abysmal 16.7 percent from the three-point line for 5.8 points in 12.4 minutes. Rose's deal will directly affect the growth of Tyus Jones, who showed potential as a steals specialist last season. Both players are still behind starter Jeff Teague and can be left for owners in very deep leagues.
