Derrick Rose Goes 11-For-11 on Free Throw Line
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose tied Karl-Anthony Towns with a team-high 23 points, but he missed the game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer in Friday's 116-113 loss to the Spurs. Rose was 6-for-16 from the field, including 0-for-3 from beyond the arc, as well as 11-for-11 from the free throw line. He added six assists, giving him 3,000 for his career, to go along with three rebounds in 27 minutes. The 30-year-old, who has made all 15 free throws in January, has topped the 20-point mark in two of his three games this month. Rose exploded for 25 points as he made 11 of 16 shots from the field in the Wolves' last meeting against the Suns, who they are facing on Sunday.
