5 years agoThe Detroit Pistons will be severely short-handed Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder with both point/shooting guard Derrick Rose and shooting guard/small forward Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk set to miss their third consecutive game due to respective ailments. In addition to the trade of Andre Drummond to Cleveland, power forward/center Markieff Morris will also remain out, forcing Christian Wood into what should be a considerable workload. Reggie Jackson and Langston Galloway have benefited from Rose and Mykhailiuk’s absence over the past two contests, with both holding DFS appeal. The next chance that Rose, Mykhailiuk or Morris will have at returning to action comes Saturday against the Knicks.--Jesse Borek
