4 years agoNew York Knicks guard Derrick Rose (health and safety protocols) won't suit up on Thursday against the Pistons. Rose missed Tuesday's game because of an inconclusive COVID-19 test, though he reportedly has since tested negative. Some teams are opting to hold out players who were in the protocols for conditioning reasons, so perhaps that's the reason for Rose being out, especially with the All-Star break around the corner. Guards Elfrid Payton (hamstring) and Immanuel Quickley should see added opportunities without Rose.--Tim Capurso
