Derrick White Drops Career-High 36 Points
6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point/shooting guard Derrick White had it all working during Thursday’s Game 3 win over the Denver Nuggets, finishing with a career-best 36-point effort to carry his squad to victory. White shot 15-for-21 from the field overall, adding five rebounds, five assists and three steals to what was the best statistical night of his career. Prior to Thursday, White had only exceeded the 20-point plateau five times in his two NBA campaigns, with his previous high being 26 points back on Jan. 31. He’s sure to see a significant DFS price increase ahead of Game 4 on Saturday, but he has proven to be a crucial part of the Spurs’ offense moving forward.
