6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Derrick White was close to a double-double on Saturday against the Rockets, finishing with 14 points and eight rebounds with two steals. He shot a solid 4-for-9 from the field and 5-for-6 from the line. White had a promising preseason, but he was unfortunately injured before the season started. He had only 17 appearances and logged less than nine minutes per game during his rookie year, but he's expected to have a much bigger role this season, and Saturday's performance could've been a sign of things to come.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
