6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point/shooting guard Derrick White collected a new career high with 22 points during Monday’s victory over the Boston Celtics. The scoring output came on an uber-efficient night where White went 8-for-9 from the floor, adding three rebounds, three assists and two blocks for his best all-around outing of the year. White has been finding his groove in the starting lineup for San Antonio, and without Rudy Gay on Monday, White welcomed the extra offensive opportunities. He remains on the fringes of rostering in anything that isn’t a deep league for the time being.--Jesse Borek
