4 years agoSan Antonio Spurs forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge (knee) has been ruled out while guard Derrick White (toe) will make his season debut Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Aldridge has been dealing with knee soreness and will miss his second straight game. White is making his season debut after recovering from toe surgery this offseason. Aldridge's absence should lead the way for another spot start from shot-blocking specialist Jakob Poeltl. White's debut will likely push Lonnie Walker IV to a limited role off the bench, but White could be limited in his first game back.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
