6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Derrick White pulled the strings in Thursday's win over Brooklyn, scoring a career-high 26 points on 8-for-13 shooting. He was 3-for-4 from deep and 7-for-9 at the line while picking up six assists, three rebounds, two blocks, and one steal in 25 minutes on the floor. Backup point guard Patty Mills also had a very productive night, shooting 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points. White is having a solid sophomore year in the league, and he put up some great numbers in January, averaging 15.3 points per game with 4.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists. He shot close to 60 percent from the field and 47 percent from deep. White is set up for success again on Saturday in a pace-up spot against the Pelicans.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
