5 years agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker paced his club with 21 points on 8-for-13 shooting during its victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Despite his efficient night shooting the ball, Booker added just two assists and one rebound, while turning the ball over five times. With the addition of Ricky Rubio to the mix this season, Booker has been tasked with fewer ball-handling duties than he was last year, which may factor into his decreased assist total through his first six games (5.2). Still, without Deandre Ayton in the mix for at least the next month, Booker remains the unquestioned No. 1 scoring option for the upstart Suns and is a perpetual threat to go for at least 20 points on any given night.--Jesse Borek
