5 years agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker continued his deluge of points without Kelly Oubre Jr. (concussion) available during Saturday’s victory over the Boston Celtics. Booker finished 12-for-20 from the floor en route to a 39-point showing, boosted by a 14-for-15 performance from the free-throw stripe. Across the stat sheet, Saturday arguably marked Booker’s best showing of the year, as he added 10 rebounds and nine assists, good for the fifth double-double that he has compiled in 2019-20. He now sits ninth in the league in scoring (26.5) on a nightly basis, eyeing his first All-Star bid ahead of Monday’s matchup with the Spurs.--Jesse Borek
