Devin Booker Finishes The Month With Nine Straight 20-Point Outings
6 years agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker scored 20 points on 6-for-15 from the field, 2-for-5 from beyond the arc, and 6-for-6 from the free throw line in Monday's loss to the Warriors. The 22-year-old added six assists, two rebounds, and one steal, along with five turnovers. He has now scored at least 20 points in nine straight games and doled out six or more assists in eight of those contests. However, turnovers have been a problem as he averaged 3.3 in December as he committed four or more on five occasions. The fourth-year pro has been pretty good since returning from injury in the middle of the month, compiling 26.5 points, 7.5 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 triples, and 1.1 steals in nine games. Booker had a tremendous game the last time the Suns faced the 76ers, who they face in Phoenix on Wednesday, as he exploded for 37 points to go along with eight assists and three rebounds.
