Devin Booker Goes For 26 Points In Start As Point Guard
6 years agoPhoenix Suns point/shooting guard Devin Booker officially made his move back to the point guard slot in the starting five for Thursday’s loss to the Detroit Pistons. There has been little difference in Booker’s role regardless, as he collected 26 points on 8-for-17 shooting, but he did turn the ball over five times while dishing out just two assists. With Tyler Johnson out of the fold, Jimmer Fredette is reportedly coming aboard, which could allow Booker to move off the ball again as soon as Saturday’s outing versus the Sacramento Kings. Regardless of his official position, Booker will have a favorable match-up against the Kings, whom he is averaging 21.9 points per game against in his career.
