Devin Booker Notches Team-Best 21 Points In Defeat
5 years agoPhoenix Suns point/shooting guard Devin Booker dropped a team-high 21 points during Saturday’s loss to the Golden State Warriors, but delivered an atypically shallow night of production across the rest of his stat sheet. For just the second time all season, Booker failed to record a rebound, and despite playing 38 minutes, he was able to notch just one assist while logging six turnovers. He shot well from deep -- 4-for-7 -- but was held to just 2-for-9 shooting from inside the arc, not seeing a significant increase in offensive usage even with Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) out of the mix. He will have two days off before facing the Raptors on Wednesday and he enters the contest having shot 46.3 percent from long range when getting two nights off coming into an outing this year.
