7 years agoPhoenix Sun guard Devin Booker put up 27 points in a 128-117 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Booker did not add much else while putting up four assists, one rebound and two makes from deep on a not so efficient seven of 20 from the floor. With Elfrid Payton in town, we can expect to see Booker's assists drop -- 3.5 a night in the two games he has played alongside Payton -- as Booker will be getting most of his minute purely at the two-guard spot now. The benefit here is that he'll see more catch-and-shoot opportunities for the three-point gunner, which should see his makes from deep rise. Booker will have his hands full on the second night of the Suns back-to-back against a potent Portland Trailblazers back court.--Gianni Costantiello
