5 years agoPhoenix Suns point/shooting guard Devin Booker recorded his second double-double of the year during Saturday’s victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. While he came an assist shy of a triple-double, he did go off for 35 points on 12-for-26 shooting, also adding a career-high 12 rebounds. With Phoenix thin in the frontcourt without Aron Baynes and Deandre Ayton in the mix, Booker saw the opportunity to snag a few more boards, also capitalizing on a beleaguered Minnesota defensive unit. Phoenix’s leading scorer has now recorded at least 20 points in 13 of his 15 contests this season.--Jesse Borek
