6 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) will start against the Celtics on Saturday. Dedmon missed the past two games, but with the Hawks off since Tuesday he had time to have his ankle heal. The 7-footer had been playing well before getting injured, which included turning in his best overall game against the 76ers on Jan. 11 where he tallied 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds and doled out seven assists. He has scored in double-figures in three of his five January appearances and collected at least six rebounds in four of those five games. With his return to the lineup, rookie Omari Spellman will return to the bench and likely see a decrease in playing time. Spellman played well the past two games. Dedmon should be owned in standard fantasy leagues as long as he is healthy.--Daniel Benjamin
