3 years agoSeattle Mariners relief pitcher Diego Castillo earned his second save of the season against the New York Mets on Sunday. Right-hander Drew Steckenrider came in the begin the ninth, but allowed four hits and two runs. The Mariners handed over the ball to Castillo who recorded the final two outs of the game. In May, Castillo has allowed nine runs in three outings. That being said, he's a risky option even if he's given more chances in the ninth inning. At the moment, Paul Sewald appears to be the favorite to get the ball in the ninth inning.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
