Dillon Brooks Nearing Return To Grizzlies

2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Dillon Brooks (hand) is nearing a return to the team. Brooks practiced with the team's G-League affiliate- and the team announced on Twitter that Brooks would be assigned to play in a simulated game. It's not clear how much of a build-up he'll require, as he has yet to take part in any game action yet this year, though it's a great sign to see him so close to returning. Brooks averaged career-highs in points, assists, and steals while draining nearly two threes per game last year. He should be scooped up if available on waivers. Brooks' return could mean that both Desmond Bane and De'Anthony Melton take hits in the minutes' department, though both should remain solid plays for fantasy purposes.--Tim Capurso
