6 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard Dion Waiters was not bashful during Saturday’s win over the New York Knicks, logging a season-high 28 points on 11-for-23 shooting overall, including 6-for-16 from behind the three-point line, setting a new career high in attempts. Waiters has been percolating over the past four games, having averaged nearly 12 three-point attempts per contest. It appears that he’ll be the Heat’s go-to scorer over the final six games of the regular season and potentially into the playoffs, as he finds his groove in his return from an ankle ailment. He’ll face a tough test Monday in the Boston Celtics, who are allowing the fewest opponent fantasy points per game this season.--Jesse Borek
