7 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) has been ruled out for the upcoming three-game road trip. Nowitzki is dealing with pain in his left ankle and is expected to miss the entire three-game road trip that starts Wednesday. Nowitzki did play 25 minutes in the victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. However, the Mavs are tanking for draft positioning, so they have no incentive to play Nowitzki at less than 100 percent. Dwight Powell (knee) will be sidelined as well, so expect Maximilian Kleber and Nerlens Noel to see plenty of playing time.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
